The Empire has him listed as AWOL, outstanding, and possibly a traitor. He is wanted by the Empire, in particular their scientific corps, for analysis – postmortem if required.
“6” has an aim to rescue ex-comrades from enslavement by the Empire. He believes in the Republic and only knows a little about hat made the Jedi special – although his involvement with El-Isara seems to be changing that. Order 66 felt wrong to him, and although rumours persist that a bio-chip installed within each clone is what caused the Clone’s sudden turn against the Jedi, he has no real idea of what had happened. Meeting up with some form of resistance is one way of getting some answers without being executed or re-intergrated into the Empire.
As a member of the original Clone Units who fought alongside the Jedi, “6” is feeling a little bit of a fish out of water. With nothing but the knowledge of warfare on his mind, “6” struggles to adapt to being behind enemy lines, without there being a clear sight of the enemy.

"6"’s first mission, having lived and breathed combat and warfare his entire life up until that point, was as a gunner aboard one of several gunships which rescued the Jedi at the Battle of Geonosis. After that successful engagement, “6” was promoted to the rank of Corporal, and acted as second in charge of a squad throughout the Clone Wars. “6” spend most of his time either in the cockpit of a gunship, or on the battlefield holding emplacements with heavy weapons. “6” was later transferred to the Dominus Sector during the final days of the Clone Wars

RC-1666 was among the first batch of second generation Clone Commandos created on Kamino. With a greater capacity for independent thinking, the commandos would be better suited to handling delicate missions with complicated objectives. If necessary, they would also be capable of devising their own way for completing missions.
Along with his 3 brothers who shared his pod and were to become his squad mates, he spent the first 10 years of his life being trained in the ways of infiltration, demolition, assassinations and much more by his Mandalorian Trainers.
As the Clone Wars began with its first battle on the Separatist world Geonosis, the clone commandos were among of the first units deployed onto the battlefield, undertaking stealth missions to disrupt and destroy droid factories. Fox Squad, which was led by RC-1666, was dropped behind enemy lines with the mission of destroying a Droid Factory. Fox Squad achieved their mission with great success and made their way back to friendly lines.
It was here where events were to take place that would change RC-1666 life forever.
Due to the fact that the Jedi had not yet been prepared to lead an army, nor could they distinguish clone commandos from regular infantry troops, roughly fifty percent of the commandos died in the first battle. Despite their training as elite soldiers, the commandos were unfit to perform the role of the infantry-based clone troopers.
It was during one of these battles that Fox Squad was sent to plug a hole in the front lines. Completely out numbered RC-1666 watched as his brothers were cut down by endless rows of Battle Droids that advanced on their position. Knowing that if the position fell the Droids would have a clear run to the Command Centre he manned an E-web repeating blaster and continued to fire until a rocket barrage rained down on him.
Severely wounded the last thing he remembered before passing out was a figure dressed in brown robes bending down over him and telling him he would be fine.
Days later RC-1148 awoke in the Medical Ward on Kamino where he was treated. He learned that although the Battle was a success the causalities were tremendous and many of his brother commandos including his own squad mates had died. He also learned that it was a Jedi Knight who saved him and carried him back to the Med station.
For his efforts during the battle he was promoted to Sergeant and told that when he was well he could lead a new squad that was being formed but having lost his brothers RC-1148 fell into a deep depression as he mourned them. He had heard of the work that the ARC troopers were performing and the idea of working alone so he would never have to face the pain of losing someone close suited him just fine.
It was around this time he noticed that many of the Clones had abandoned their designation numbers and given themselves names. Although he had no intention of doing it himself he had heard many of the clones had already chosen a name for him, because of the way he now acted – FROSTY.
As Frosty slowly recovered he decided to explore his Mandolarian History and learned a many great things.
Soon enough he was cleared for duty and reported to Jedi Master Arligan Zey who was now the Director of Special Forces. Frosty served with many different Jedi across the course of the next few years and grew to admire them greatly.
He was later transferred to the Dominus Sector during the final days of the Clone Wars, where he was sent to carry out several missions on the planet of Karkaris. During an engagement against the Karkarodon Separatist Forces, a galaxy wide message was received by every Clone Unit – Execute Order 66. This order was not one that he could recall the importance of, but his fellow Clone brothers, suddenly turned on their once allies, the Jedi no sooner than the order was issued. With complete brutality, Frosty watched on as the clone troopers made quick work of the Jedi Knight who had only moments ago been leading them into battle.
The directive was clear to them, but foreign to him. Perhaps it was some type of mind control; perhaps one of this so called Dark Jedi had somehow affected their minds? Either way, he sensed a change with his fellow clone brothers. His only question however: Why was he not affected? He had heard rumours of chips that had been implanted into the standard clones head at their creation, but dismissed them as silly rumours. Now, however, he was not so sure.
Frosty knew that he needed to know more, and acted along as best he could. Suddenly, further orders were received, that they were to hunt down and kill any remaining Jedi including a Jedi Master and Padawan who were believed to be acting independently in the same system. The Padawan was merely a child of 13 years, newly recruited from the Jedi Temple to join the war effort.
He refused to carry out the command to kill them, viewing it as an invalid order. Not believing that the Jedi would ever betray the Republic, he finally decided, enough was enough, and actively sought the Jedi and her Padawan in order to protect them from his brothers.
Some time after, he found them, but so to did his brothers. The firefight was furious, and the Clone Troopers turned upon him. Frosty was injured during the ensuring fight, but still managed with ease to eliminate his former brothers.
Knowing that further Clone Troopers were not far behind, the Jedi gave him specific instructions, and order him to protect the young Padawan from harm. He remained loyal to what he believed, and the two fled planet, leaving behind the child’s master to complete whatever mission she was on. Since then, Frosty and El-Isara have kept low, travelling from one planet to the next as things heated up.
Frosty has since used the alias Nexus Tyrel, and the Padawan has insisted on calling his “6”.
